A little more Eve and a bit of absence

Greetings dear blogging friends!

I have been working on Eve, since my last post, and since I am a very slow stitcher, not much progress has been made, but each stitch will be a step to the finish line! I am not sure about the flesh color for Eve, I do hope she is not going to look like she needs a Vitamin B-12 shot or anything, after all she is fresh from God's creation! But I had to switch out the NPI called for, because of my choice of fabric.

'Scuse the wrinkles and the not so great pic!

I will be leaving for my daughter's tomorrow morning. Need to pack up the SUV tonight, with everything for the baby shower. Course most of the food I will just buy when I get up there and prepare. Hope that many come, haven't gotten that many RSVP's, but you know everyone is busy, and especially if they do plan to attend, they usually just come.

I will be returning late Sunday evening, hope that you all have a wonderful weekend, and I will be 'seeing' you when I get home the first of the week!

Thanks for your visits and wonderful comments!;)

Love, Jan

Eve looks fine to me (LOL about the vitamin shot)--I think she's just been wearing her SPF 45! Enjoy the shower, and probably you will get more people--what is it about people not RSVP'ing? I can hear my mother's voice in my head instructing me to RSVP early so that whoever's throwing the party knows how much to buy and make!

Eve is looking wonderful, Jan. The vitamin shot comment gave me my afternoon giggle (which was sorely needed after a long day!)!

Hope you have a good turnout for the shower, despite the lack of RSVPs. I'm with Glenna - I was taught to RSVP early so they could plan know the head-count. Just not taught these days, I guess.

Travel safely!

Hey Sugar! Eve is looking Gorgeous and she has that true Southern Belle complexion... in other words she's as pale as I am so she's just fine! :) I can't wait to see your progress on her, Live Simply, Seven Days and Sarah! :) You know I'm going to have to start Eve soon... As soon as I catch my breath that is! lol

And do tell Hun, what is the lovely pynkeep in your photo? You know I had my face up to the screen peering in... lol

I'm so happy Ashley's Baby Shower turned out so beautifully and I can't wait to see all the photos! :)

OH, and let me say, my dear KS that I am thrilled beyond measure at Ellen's return!!! ;) She's my inspiration... along with all your encouragement and love! And I Love your new background as well! It's red and chocolate, how could I not sit here drooling? :)

Blessings, hugs and love in stitches... always!

Hope the baby shower was a success! I think Eve looks great, but I understand about second guessing yourself. Vit. B shot! How funny.

Have a great weekend.

I just love this design after seeing your progress on it, and can't wait to see more :-) she is definitely pale, but like you say, so fresh from God's creation!

That's pretty, she's pale but I think it's cool looking anyway

Jan,

What lovely progress you're making! I absolutely love the way it's turning out.. and if you notice, so many A/E's have flesh that color... don't give her any vitamins, bc she's just fine! :)

People rarely RSVP any more.. I never get them, yet people still show up! I guess it's just the age of busy-ness. ;)
